Plane Mirrors
Mirrors
are used to fold or bend the optical path
in a system. Before selecting a mirror the application
must be considered, thermal and mechanical stability as well as flatness
are important in selection. We supply a range
of mirrors covering a range from UV-Visible-IR applications
and surface specifications.
These Plane Mirrors are offered in two grades either
as General-purpose Grade or with guaranteed flatness
of 1 λ over 25mm.
General-purpose
Grade Mirrors are generally on float glass substrates
have a wide variety of usages. 1.1mm thick mirrors are
useful for their low inertia in scanning systems whilst
3mm and 6mm thick mirrors have better flatness and are
useful for camera, microscope or projector systems and
illumination and sensing applications.
Plane
1 λ over 25mm Mirrors are available in a wide
range of sizes at very reasonable prices, made possible
by bulk preparation of the material.
