Bar Gratings and Resolution Charts

Bar gratings consist of a pattern of equal bars and spaces formed in chromium on a glass substrate, commonly used for moiré, Ronchi and other metrological techniques. Resolution charts provide a range of spatial frequencies for optical testing, similarly consist of precision metallic patterns deposited on a transparent glass substrate.
