Borosilicate windows Low-expansion Borosilicate (LEGB) Windows are very suitable for windows, because borosilicate glass has excellent chemical and thermal-shock resistance. We offer both 1.1mm windows made by the float process for general purpose applications and two grades of polished window, either λ/4 or λ/2 for more precision applications.
